The 17th Annual AWARE Historic Home Tour will feature eight gracious
homes, the Jackson County Medical Care Facility and Queen of the
Miraculous Medal Church. These historically significant structures
represent varied styles of architecture, and interior furnishings.
Please also take time to view the extraordinary home gardens. Docents
at each location will share the history of that site, along with
interesting stories passed along by the owners. Home locations and
owners are as follows:

Donna Blake (The Blake Building) 180 W. Michigan Avenue
Wilson and Janette Bowers 218 Fourth Street
Jessica Embury 729 W. Washington Avenue
Ken & Merry St. John 1205 W. Washington Avenue
Michael & Jan Wilcox 605 S. Durand Street
Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church 606 S. Wisner Street
Jim & Lori Fay 776 Bloomfield Boulevard
Nancy & Chitti Kang 763 Oakridge Drive
Sharon Rouse 3010 Horton Road
Some of the artists who will be demonsttrating, and displaying their
craft at the homes on the tour are: Linda Atherton, John Blank, Terry
Kamela Cheney, Mary Hertler Tallman and Jeannette Woodard.
Throughout the two days of the tour, refreshments will be available in
the Carriage House at AWARE and at the Jackson County Medical Care
Facility. Tickets can be purchased at AWARE, Anna's Store for Home,
Family and Friends. Tickets may also be purchased on the tour dates at
the tour sites.
