Contractual Substance Abuse Counselor

This job opportunity involves working with domestic and sexual violence housing survivors who are in recovery. This position is for a counselor to facilitate support groups and individual advocacy. Primarily conducting evening substance abuse groups, groups will run for two hours once a week. The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field and a CAC-M.  Master’s Degree Preferred.   Basic knowledge of addiction and at least two years experience is mandatory. Applicants must demonstrate an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries with clients. Applicant should be proficient with Microsoft Office Word. Applicant must undergo a reference and security check.
