Support Services

AWARE has both group and individual services. All counseling services are provided free of charge.

Survivors may receive counseling services at any time after an assault or incident of abuse. There is no time limit for how long after the abuse or rape the survivor may request services.

Counseling services are supported by VOCA (Victims of Crime Act). The project VOCA-Victim Assistance is supported by the Victim of Crime Act Crime Victim Assistance Grant Award awarded to AWARE, Inc., by the Michigan Crime Victim Services Commission, Michigan Department of Community Health.
